Lawrence Grinnell has served the Grinnell Family Association in many capacities since joining the organization in 1987, including president, newsletter editor, author/editor of the 1997 edition of this Genealogy, webmaster, board member, and secretary. He served in the United States Air Force from 1973 to 1982. He is a retired technical writer with nearly 40 years in the high technology industry. He is a member of the New England Historical Genealogical Society, the Rhode Island Historical Society, the Palm Beach County Genealogical Society, the Society for Technical Communications, and the American Radio Relay League. He has written extensively on genealogical, automotive, and jazz music topics. He lives in South Florida.
